"All are welcome here"

A Safe Place to Learn

The faculty and staff of St. William School provide our students with a welcoming and safe environment  to learn and grow.  Our faculty does not tolerate bullying, and since all of our faculty and staff is Virtus Certified, they are trained to ensure the safety of our children.  Our students feel secure knowing that they can rely on the St. William faculty for advice, help, and security.

All Are Welcome

Part of living positively in the world involves learning to love and respect each other as children of God.  St. William School’s diverse student body embraces people from all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.  From such diversity blooms mutual understanding, respect, and love.  Learning to live as Christian family begins here.

Your Extended Family

St. William School is our community’s extended family.  Our principal and teachers develop personal relationships with every student and family, becoming more than just educators. Parent-Teacher Conferences and on-line resources allow our faculty to have regular contact with school parents.  We are always available to our community. We actively create opportunities for parents to participate in developing academic programs and influencing school curriculum. In a survey conducted by the University of Chicago, 9 out of 10 parents felt teachers listened to their suggestions about how to best support their child and 98% of parents felt that their voice was heard by the staff in decisions that affected the school community.

St. William School understands the demands placed upon working class families.  That is why we offer our Extended Day Program for every family who needs it.  Starting every day before school at 6:30 a.m., and continuing after school until 6:00 p.m, our students can relax with their friends or work on homework in safe environment.

Spiritual

St. William School believes in developing the whole child recognizing that each person has been given unique gifts and talents. We focus on helping students share those talents.

Successful

The majority of our students go onto the high school of their first choice and our graduates go on to attend Universities such as Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and Stanford.
